3. Everyone needs adjustment time when one first starts wearing contact lenses. In a matter of days you should be well adjusted to wearing your new contacts.

4. Never rub your eyes when you have contacts in place.

5. Protect your vision by wearing UV sunglasses. Contact wearers develop have very sensitive eyes when in the sunlight .Protect your vision from dangerous UV rays.

6. Make sure you have a moisturizing solution with you at all times. This is necessary to ease any discomfort one may experience due to dust; smoke; and pollen.

7. Should one’s eyes become itchy and red , they should call their eye doctor immediately. This could be the start of a more serious problem.

Be Prepared:

One should always have other options available in case of accidental losing one of the contact lenses. Many individual’s with contacts also have eyeglasses that they revert to often. Wear UV protected sunglasses if you have any intentions on doing outside work or playing outdoors.

Proper Care: Make sure to follow your eye doctors instructions in order to promote healthy vision. Always use the proper cleaning solution to promote longer lasting use of your contact lenses.

Before inserted contacts into eyes:

1. It is essentially that you thoroughly wash your hands.

2. Follow cleaning and caring instructions.

3. Use proper cleaning solutions.

4. Keep your contacts in a secure case when not wearing .

5, Inform your eye doctor if you notice redness or itchy eyes or blurred vision.

Never:

1. Put damaged contacts in your eyes. This could damage the cornea.

2. Don’t apply makeup before inserting your contacts. You may prefer to use hypoallergenic products when it comes to makeup. Water based products cause less eye irritation. Don’t use eye liner or mascara over three months old. All of these products are prone to bacteria build up.

3. Don’t allow makeup to get on your contacts. Use caution.

4. Never moisten your contacts with saliva. Use only recommended caring and cleaning products.

5. Never loan your contacts to another. They were designed by prescription for you.
